"Tales of Drakendiep - The Witches' Path" is a short film made for the CineChallenge 2025 in Groningen. I participated in the writing, co-directed the production with Isidora Jurisic, did the cinematography with Nigel Littmann and edited the film by myself.
As you can see, there are two versions. One is a shorter, somewhat rushed version in which the colour grading and VFX was done by someone else. The second one is the director's cut, which is slightly longer (8min) but more complete and less rushed. In addition, the colour grading and VFX in that version were done by me. If you watch one of the two, I recommend you watch the director's cut.
We were nominated for "Best Production Design" and Emine Rabia Sensevdi, who played Nyx, was nominated for "Best Actor/Actress". Unfortunately, we did not win.
The trailer to my first feature documentary. "Geen Roze Olifanten of Magic Bullets" ("No Pink Elephants or Magic Bullets") explores the therapeutic potential of psychedelics and the renewed interest in it in the Netherlands. Researchers, smartshop owners, retreat organisers and people with therapeutic psychedelic experiences share their knowledge and insight on the topic and draw a complete portrait of therapeutic psychedelic use in the Netherlands. This documentary tries to move the debate away from "Are psychedelics good or bad?" to "How can those that benefit from them use them safely and efficiently?". It nevertheless takes a critical look at the topic as psychedelics might not cause you to see pink elephants, but they're not a magic bullet, a wonder medicine that resolves every problem, neither.
What are psychedelics? Do they truly have a therapeutic potential, or are they just a “hippie drug”? Will they ever be integrated into the arsenal of mental healthcare? What is a smartshop? What happens during a psychedelic retreat? All these questions and more will be answered in this documentary of 1hr. (FYI: the documentary in mainly in Dutch, but has English subtitles.)

"All in the Pie" is a short film that was made for the 48hrs Film Festival 2024 in Groningen. I participated in the writing, co-directed the production with Isidora Jurisic, did the cinematography together with Nigel Littmann, made a first assembly edit with the collaboration of Isidora and Nigel and then a second edit in which I also did the grading and the audio/ musical supervision.
We were nominated for the prices for "Best Costume", "Best Set Design" and "Best Use of Genre" and we won the price for "Best Use of Genre".
Above, there are two versions. The first one is the one we submitted and the second one is a re-edit by me, in which I changed the grading and the audio/music.
The 48-Hour Film Project is a fast-paced filmmaking competition where teams have 48 hours to write, shoot, and edit a short film.
