
Born in 1995 in Luxembourg. Maurice Schaack first studied Media Studies at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (RuG), after which he went on to earn two master’s degrees: one in Middle Eastern Studies from the RuG and another one in Film Studies from the University of Amsterdam. In 2021, Maurice attended a Filmmaking course at the New York Film Academy’s school in Europe, located in Florence. Since then, he has been active as a filmmaker, creating various music videos and short films. In 2025, he premiered his first feature documentary called "Geen Roze Olifanten of Magic Bullets" ("No Pink Elephants of Magic Bullets") that talks about the therapeutic potential of psychedelics and the use thereof in the Netherlands.
